Education. Income. Health.

Here at United Way of Eastern Maine, we're working to create lasting change by mobilizing the caring power of our communities toward the effects of a better education, improved financial standing, and a higher quality of health for our neighbors.

Many people who live and work in Eastern Maine face tough challenges on a daily basis - some may not know where their next meal is coming from, while others have a strong need for a Mentor, Tutor, or Reader. The need for a helping hand is not limited to adults either. There are young children who do not have enough food on the weekend and are going hungry.

We hope you're able to explore the site and learn about the funded programs and initiatives that are helping our community grow stronger. Check out our focus on improving our community's education, income and health

We're all in this together.
Let's make a difference for our neighbors.
